American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

National Doctors' Day is March 30National Doctors' Day

Celebrate and honor your mentor on March 30, National Doctors’ Day through the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Foundation.

Tribute gifts—donations made in honor of someone—are a thoughtful way to say thank you. Your contribution to honor your mentor will also help the ACS Foundation continue support of surgical research and education.

Make a donation on or before March 30, and the ACS Foundation will send an acknowledgment letter to your honoree (or family if in memoriam) noting the National Doctors’ Day celebration.  A special recognition page, sponsored by the ACS Foundation, will feature all participating donors and honorees in the Bulletin, Bulletin Brief, and on the ACS website.

FTL100 Campaign

FTL100“Mentorship is at the core of our profession. I have been blessed with tremendous mentors who have helped me pursue my passion and supported me along the way. I can think of no better way to honor my mentors by paying it forward to the Future Trauma Leaders Program” – Eileen Bulger, MD, FACS, Chair ACS Committee on Trauma

The FTL100 Campaign is part of the Committee on Trauma’s centennial, which will be celebrated throughout 2022. Our centennial has been made possible by gifts great and small by so many, and we want to take this opportunity to honor you. Donors will be commemorated in our upcoming Committee on Trauma 100th Anniversary commemorative book, “Looking to the Future through the Lens of Legacy.” Those who give $2,022 or more will be honored in the commemorative book.

The FTL100 Campaign supports mentorship activities that further the identification and development of surgeons with an interest in the practice of trauma surgery through the Trauma Mentoring Fund. Opportunities for a named mentoring scholarship also exist through the Future Trauma Leaders Named Mentorship Fund.
