American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

Geriatric Surgery Verification Webinar Series

The Geriatric Surgery Verification (GSV) program offers a topical, monthly webinar series where we invite participants to join a discussion with geriatric medical experts and program staff. Each month's webinar will feature a particular topic relevant to the GSV program standards.

All GSV webinars are open to participating GSV sites. Current GSV participants are encouraged to attend, including GS directors, GS coordinators, GS nurse champions, surgeons, nurses, integrated health providers, and hospital administrators.

2021 GSV Webinar Schedule

All participants must register in advance for each webinar. GSV will send a monthly registration reminder to all participating centers. Any questions* you would like us to address as it relates to the particular month's webinar topic will be submitted when you register for that month's call.

*Please reserve clinical questions regarding the GSV variables, definitions, and long-term follow-up for the ACS Clinical Support Staff: clinicalsupport@facs.org. We will not answer clinical questions during the GSV webinars.

At this time, the live GSV Webinars are only open to participating GSV hospitals. Non-GSV hospitals will be able to access the recordings once they become available. The webinars are held on the last Tuesday of each month, 10:00–11:00 am (CT). You must register for each webinar separately.
